Our team of industry experts batch beverages that meet the rapid pace of hospitality service.
We take complex cocktail processes and present simple solutions that anyone can serve up quickly.
We’re here to grow hospitality, together. That means we host talks, events, a jobs board and even a week-long cocktail festival. Our doors are very much open.
We provide hospitality tools and back them up with industry know-how. Worksmith is here to train staff, support venues and help with R&D. Our space has dedicated equipment to test, learn, distill and more. It’s got everything you’ll need, including the kitchen sink.
If there’s one thing Worksmith knows, it’s drinks. We’ve worked in many of the best bars and restaurants in the world, and some of the more questionable ones too. We’ve built cocktail menus from scratch, and we know our way around a rotavap, a centrifuge and a clarified milk punch. So if you’re wanting to unpick the proverbial seams of the cocktail world, develop a new drinks list or bring a product to market but don’t know where to start, we’re your people and we have a dedicated space to do it in.
No cocktail program will be successful if your staff don’t know how to execute it and treat it as their own. So we don’t just send stock, we send our best people too. Worksmith staff will be on hand to teach everything from garnish prep to measuring out drinks to the fundamentals of service and management.
Working with Melbourne's best bars, and some of the top names in the industry, MCF is here to shine a light on the producers, bartenders and venues that makeup Melbourne's cocktail culture. Learn more.

Stella is here to provide high quality, delicious and responsibly sourced coffee to anyone who wants to discover it.
Stella is lead by Tim Varney, who's been doing coffee for some time and in various capacities - as a coffee roaster for Tim Wendelboe, as the co-founder of the World AeroPress Championship and as a co-founder of Melbourne's first co-roasting space Bureaux.
Gathering, sharing ideas and discussing issues is how this industry grows, together. Being a part of that is probably the most important thing we do here at Worksmith. We host monthly discussions with diverse panels, as well as bi-annual symposiums where things get even juicer.
