An Industry's Response to COVID-19

In unprecedented times, we come together more than ever.

By: Worksmith

Whether you’ve been told (or are waiting to be told) to work from home, you’ve had to temporarily shut-up-shop, or you’re feeling the effects of a dip/spike in orders/purchases/visitors, those who remain directly unaffected by Coronavirus are few and far between (social isolation pun intended).

If you’ve been watching and reading up on the markets -- which have been tumultuous, to say the least, or visited six different stores in the hope of sourcing a bag of flour or a roll of loo paper, the impact that Coronavirus is having on the business world - particularly, for we in the hospitality and F&B industry, is massive.

Over the coming weeks and months, few aspects of hospitality won’t be affected to some degree by the coronavirus. This industry is fragile at the best of times, and with the worst of times upon us, it’s important to do what we can to come out on the other side of this mess.

We're all drenched in corona information, so much so that it's hard to know what's applicable to you, to where you work, and to your industry as a whole. The Worksmith team put together a document that we hope will help create some clarity for you. And will continue to be updated in the coming weeks.

Download it here, save it, print it, share it. Do what you need to do.

We've also got a Facebook Group for questions, answers, advice and shared sorrows.

You can find it here.

we’ll break down how you (and we) will be impacted, how to respond, and what to look for in the coming weeks as we dedicate our resources to helping our industry survive the pandemic.

For a place to ask questions, give answers, share advice, updates and even sorrows; head to our Facebook Group and switch on your notifications.
